I won't give much away in this document as it is all very secret and hush hush until it goes to market, but I thought I would share with the readers the troubles I am having in deciding what to have from the start.
With my background in online sales I have a craving to have as much insight on the market and advertising as possible, therefore the integration of analytics in both an online and offline form is essential. I also believe that is essential to understand your customers behaviors both pre and post sale, therefore you can make sure they are happy and are getting the service they require. A happy customer is a long term customer, a long term customer is a profitable customer.
I also want as much automation within both the administration and technical side of the company, therefore there is a huge list of APIs that I could integrate, it is just seeing which ones will give the greatest reward upfront.
My old boss who is now a good friend once told be to aim for platinum but make sure you get bronze silver and gold. I.e. you will get 500% return for bronze, 300% for silver, 200% for gold but only 125% for platinum. So therefore make sure you hit the biggest returns first before you perfect everything with platinum.
This is the only way to stay ahead of the competitors i believe.
